Descripción: | Foundation: the death rate for cancer in Villa Clara, to the closing of the 2009, stayed above the national stocking, with significant occurrence of more number of cases with late diagnosis in deceases that in the survivors to the period of study. Objective: to show the potentialities of the space-temporal analysis to identify space conglomerates and/or space-temporal that allow us the analysis of the late diagnosis as explanatory variable of the mortality, of the five localizations of cancers under it programs in the county. Methods: an observational descriptive study, focused in the detection of space conglomerates and spacetemporal of the late diagnosis of cancer in Villa Clara, using a statistical technique of space-temporary exploration, the sample embraced the entirety of patients diagnosed during the year 2004, to those that were carried out pursuit in the 5 serial years to the diagnosis, until the closing of the year 2009. Results: it revealed the presence of significant conglomerates so much space as space-temporal, of the areas of more risk of diagnostic uncertain. Summations: it demonstrated to be a good tool for the analysis of the late diagnosis of the cancer, and it allowed the hypothesis generation on possible decisive that help to guide new investigations. |
