Descripción:Characterization and evaluation of cubansoybean collections, is one of the initial steps in germplasmpotentiation of this species, in order to use it in developmentand breeding programs. In the present work, 50cultivars from the cuban soybean collection were preliminaryclassified, considering the most variable attributes. The cultivarswere grouped as early, intermediate and late ones, accordingto days to bulk flowering. Most promising cultivars wereoutstanded in the early and intemediate plus late groups,repectively; these cultivars are recommended for their inclussionin the breeding programs of the species.
