Descripción:The integrated curriculum is a learning process that encourages the knowledge seeking of a subject matter from multiple perspectives, with the aim that students become capable of establishing relationships between the already acquired knowledge for integrating and the new one. This allows students to get involved with this process and to develop their creative, critical, and reflexive capacity, in order to construct strategies that allow them to establish new significant relationships between contents in a wide range of situations and circumstances. The present article describes the need to incorporate the textbook from a planning for integrated curriculum.
