| Beskrivelse: | This research aims to identify potential differences in the current Legislative Assembly’s composition—based on the designation of representatives from the province of San José—if only votes from cantons sharing the same Social Development Index (SDI) are considered valid. For this comparison, three groups of cantons are formed (High SDI, Medium SDI, Low SDI). Election results from the 2,232 polling stations are processed, and the number of deputies per political party is simulated using the current quotient and sub-quotient allocation method. Additionally, a comparison is made of abstention levels in nine marginal urban zones within the province of San José. |
