Popis:This article describes new tendencies in the teaching of writing in higher education. Its purpose is to provide a panoramic perspective of the experiences and approaches that are currently promoted and applied in other countries, especially in the United States, but also in Latin America. This presents an alternative to the theoretical and methodological paradigms than are currently being applied in Costa Rica.
