| विवरण: | This article analyzes the work of Humberto Ak’abal (Maya-K’iche’), focusing on his view of poetry and the construction of his identity as an Indigenous poet. Based on his poems and interviews, this article examines how Ak’abal’s writing challenges social and literary conventions by articulating word, silence, ancestry, and resistance. His poetics, shaped by personal and collective experience, is rooted in a relational worldview.
