Popis:This article presents a pedagogical proposal for achieving meaningful learning in the clinical teaching of dentistry. Some of the characteristics of the teaching-learning process in this educational scenario are presented, in addition to the pedagogical foundations that underpin the strategy. The treatment guide is presented as an alternative for the students to obtein significant learning in a class whose activities are based on practice. The article shows the structure of what may represent a learning strategy for the students who follows it and a teaching strategy for the professor, who by analyzing the data included in the guide, provides his advice for the development of a proposed treatment. Results from a pilot test provide some recommendations from the area to be apply by the stafft in their teaching work.
