Description:The Spanish drama text Petra regalada, by Antonio Gala is addressed here. The main objective is to explain how a dialogic tension is configured by appealing to common law to affirm the discursive values of a social group through discursive mechanisms that make possible the liberation of the consciences of the subjects represented there. To support this analysis, we start with the concept of literature as an ideological sign through the notions of dialogism and third interpreter, developed in the works of Mijaíl Bakhtin, as well as the theory of paratexts by Gerard Genette.
