This text seeks to explore, drawing on theorists such as Bronislaw Baczko, Michel Foucault, Beatriz Sarlo, Gregorio Agamben, and Marc Augé, the transitions that mark the collapse of the idea of nation in geographies where systems of normalized violence, social control, exclusion, and horror are articulated, through one of Guatemala’s most important contemporary narrative voices. |
