| Miêu tả: | This essay highlights the importance of resuming the transformative reflections that education has in, about, and for peace as a response to the instances of violence experienced in Costa Rican society at a historical moment in which it seems that violent acts are being ignored. Based on a theoretical reflection and illustrative examples, the need to attend to virtual and non-virtual individual and collective dimensions is proposed through peace education and teaching practices to avoid the normalization of all types of violence, mitigate them and, hopefully, eliminate them from citizen experiences. |
