This study examines the role of the National University Chorotega Headquarters, Campus Nicoya in social transformation through extension programs, projects, and academic activities in the Chorotega Region. Bibliographic research and interviews were used to collect information on the role of social innovation, the substantive actions of the National University, and the community impact of the programs and projects of the Nicoya Campus.
