Information sources that reflect the identity of Costa Rican

Descripción:The research summarizes the sources of information collected in libraries, reflected the commemorations began to germinate a few decades of independence for Costa Rica, from the mid-nineteenth century to the twenty-first century, through laws and decrees enacted by the legislative and executive branches, with in order to raise the identity of the Costa Rican citizen, a sense of belonging in the national community; and to promote the celebration of historical events, patriotic deeds, cultural festivities, sports, professional and institutional trades. It is evident that through Costa Rican history, representatives of the highest authorities of the country have proclaimed holidays or celebrations of various kinds in duplicate form; in turn, the study shows that the same event is published for different times of the year and even worldwide celebrations overshadow national ones. Therefore, the research reflects a corollary of inconsistencies in official statements.Although the study does not limit celebrations academic calendar issued by the Ministry of Education as the lead agency for education in Costa Rica, ephemeris derived from various political powers are implicit in this calendar. Also, no religious holidays are included, however, are held at national and local level, reflecting the culture of the Costa Rican identity.
