Diğer Bilgiler:This study presents the results of an acoustic analysis of the formants of the vowels of the Tol language, pronounced both in isolation and in unstressed syllables within words. The findings show that the vowels /e, o/ are pronounced as mid-high, while /ɨ/ occupies an intermediate height between high and mid-high vowels. Additionally, /ɨ, a/ can be classified phonetically as central vowels. Vowels in unstressed syllables exhibit a slight tendency toward centralization.
