实物特征: | In this article we will address some of the obstacles that women face when coming into contact with the criminal justice system, whether as defendants or as victims. Then, we will define if the expansion of the repressive apparatus is a response consistent with the international obligations of protection and promotion of women’s rights, or if said response, on the contrary, ends up maintaining a social status quo in which gender hierarchies and stereotypes continue to exist and reproduce. The conclusion will go in the latter sense and will require the State to implement effective public policies and a transversal gender perspective at all state levels. |
