Descripción:This study aims to generate reflections on the "should be" of Nicaraguan immigrants from their masculine representation, the personal and collective consequences that these representations entail. Working conditions are analyzed from the hegemonic role dictated by socialized regulations, as the home provider, as well as the perceptions about their current life and the one they had before migrating. Therefore, an exploratory study was carried out in which interviews were carried out with 50 Nicaraguan immigrants who worked as informal private security agents in the GAM (Greater Metropolitan Area) during the year 2020.
