Analysis of the scientific production of the Revista Geográfica de América Central in the years 1991-2002

| Diğer Bilgiler: | This article is a metric analysis of the scientific production of the Revista Geográfica de América Central, published by the Escuela de Ciencias Geográficas de la Universidad Nacional (Costa Rica), in which through the formation of series and the analysis of units of study such as author, year, language, among others, data of great value can be obtained for the evaluation of the performance and quality of the magazine, in the period between 1991-2002. Through this study, it was determined that in this period the editions of the magazine were irregular and with a decreasing level of production in each of the analyzed editions, publishing in its most productive year 27 articles, and reaching four in its years with lower production. |
