Descripción:This study seeks to explore how Argentina’s rapprochement with Israel can be explained and how it impacts the country’s historic policy of equidistance. The general objective of the study is to analyze Milei’s approach to Tel Aviv and its repercussions on this long-standing policy. Regarding the chosen methodological perspective, a qualitative research design was selected. Consequently, this research relies on both primary and secondary sources. As a result of the investigation, it is concluded that Argentina’s rapprochement with Israel responds not only to an international insertion strategy but also to strongly ideological and even religious components. Furthermore, this rapprochement leads to the breakdown of the policy of equidistance.
