| Description: | The author argues that the construction of the democratic method, in Latin America, in the XXI century, requires a review of the notions of state and social contract. In carrying out this review, the author distinguishes three analytical perspectives: the private, public and civil; to understand the formation of structures that defines public participation. His analysis provides a method to carry out the study of citizen participation in Latin America. This method allows studying the structures that define the state from a paradigmatic approach perspective. Having the three perspectives outlined, the author analyzes the formation of the state in Latin America, as well as the citizen participation in the definition of the democratic method. |
