Descripción:This article aims to characterize elements of Precision Agriculture (PA) in the Cuban agricultural industry, since its recognition in the agrarian legal system, with an emphasis on the economic actors participating in the agricultural sector. PA will highlight the principles of efficiency and effectiveness to achieve sustainable development in the 21st century, by including the legal principles of food security and sovereignty in the 2019 constitution. The characterization of Precision Agriculture exposed the need to develop legal norms that would complement the development of the agricultural industry. The methods used included induction-deduction, analysis-synthesis, bibliographic review, and logical history and were applied to the business project conducted in the Chamber of Agriculture in the province of Granma. The study demonstrated the relevance of having professionals in the agricultural sector complement content, based on updated Cuban agrarian legislation. The business project conducted in the agricultural sector will improve productive processes and train professionals in this strategic sector to use technologies.
