Popis:This article presents and explains, in a historical perspective, the process of building a scheme of social control of labor, in a banana division of Costa Rica. From diverse sources, it reconstructs and analyzes the productive process and the logic of its organization, as well as the forms of resistance and reactive protest of the workers, in the face of the claims of discipline and economic exploitation, in corporate plantations of the Central Pacific and South.
