Descripción: | [Introduction]: The generation of energy from renewable sources provides a global opportunity to combat climate change and the energy crisis, causedby the dependence of human dynamics on fossil fuels; However, even when the generation of renewable energies is part of the Sustainable DevelopmentGoals, there are various experiences in the incorporation of projects where communities accept or reject regardless of the benefits they may bring. [Objective]:Analyze the role of the social approach as a perspective of rapprochement in the process of social viability, prior to the incorporation of renewableenergy generation projects. [Methodology]: A descriptive documentary research was carried out on the social approach as a perspective on the socialviability of the communities towards renewable energy generation projects. [Result]: There are aspects in the social approach of a community that allowidentifying whether or not a renewable energy generation project is socially viable; allowing to anticipate the investment of resources. [Conclusion]: Asocial approach methodology must be developed that allows to know the context of the reality of a community and thus define the approach to identify thesocial viability of an electricity generation project from renewable sources. |
