Description:The aim of this study was to analyze the level of physical activity (PA) and the perception of health in people with disabilities, as well as to identify possible differences according to sex.  Fifty-two people with disabilities (32 women and 20 men) participated and the Physical Activity Scale for Individuals with Physical Disabilities (PASIPD) and the SF-36 questionnaires were used to analyze the level of practice and the perception of health, respectively.  The results show that the participants have an adequate level of PA practice and a moderate perception of health. Regarding gender differences, although no significant differences were found in terms of the level of PA practice, men had a better perception of health than women in several of the items analyzed (p < 0.05). It may therefore be of interest for the competent institutions to develop and promote physical exercise programs for this type of group, with the aim of further increasing PA levels, especially among women.
