Beschreibung:This article is based on a diagnostic view drawn from my experience in the field of Latin American religious studies and in various associations, as well as from specialized literature. Among the main challenges we face are: dependence on a Eurocentric hegemonic canon that is alien to our reality, and the disparity in the possibilities for knowledge production and connectivity between our countries. Among the possibilities for strengthening a Latin American agenda of our own are the impetus provided by decolonial critique, the opportunities for connectivity offered by digital technologies for collaborative work, and intergenerational links.
