The study results were obtained in three schools in the province of San José, in which the population was predominatly lower and middle class. The infrastructuer of these high schools is in good condition. However, in regard to the provision of acommodations for students with visual disabilities, the work of the authotities involved is deficient. It was concluded that there are very few specialized materials available to teach high school students with visual impairments since only Braille is used, and to teach Spanish specifically, there are not any materials that can be used with high school students, not to mention specialized mateirals to teach syntax and copular, predicative, transitive and intransitive sentences. specifically for teaching Spanish no materials for use by high school students; much less specialized and thematic syntax of copular sentences, predicate, transitive and intransitive. In this sense the results obtained from the study focus on the lack of these materials. |
