| Beschreibung: | Este ensayo aborda un análisis ejemplar de tres novelas que toman lugar en el Caribe de Centroamérica: Columpio al aire (1999) del nicaragüense Lizandro Chávez Alfaro, Limón Blues (2002), de la costarricense Anacristina Rossi y Calypso (1996) de la costarricense Tatiana Lobo. El análisis no solo intenta mostrar la estructura del discurso sobre el Caribe de ambos países y su representación en las novelas, sino que también pretende destacar las diferencias entre dichas representaciones. La última parte se enfoca en la recepción de las obras en el contexto nacional y regional. AbstractThis essay analyzes three novels: Columpio al Aire (1999), written by the Nicaraguan author, Lizandro Chávez Alfaro; Limón Blues (2002) by the Costa Rican writer, Anacristina Rossi and Calypso, by the Costa Rican writer Tatiana Lobo. The plot of each of these novels takes place in Central American Caribbean Coast. The analysis aims to show which discourse structure overlies in common about the Caribbean in countries, Costa Rica and Nicaragua, but also highlights the differences about its representation in such novels. Finally, the article focuses on the reception of these works of literature in national and regional contexts. |
