Descripción:The emergence of the Muslim religion, although significantly influenced by Arab culture, supposed the conquest of rights in public spheres by women. However, the disagreements generated by the different interpretations of Quranic texts and political projects wrongly justified in Islam beliefs distort and undermine this conquest. The struggle for equality and the rise of Islamic Feminism, from the perspective of an objective reading of the sacred texts, appear as a contradistinction from the misogynist appreciations of the Quran in favor of equality in Islam.
