Descripción:In follow-up to the reflections of the article published in the previous issue, the present paper considers a series of political and economic measures that the United States implemented in the preparation and launch of the global war against terrorism; the purpose is to prove that Mesoamerica takes the place that Central America occupied in past decades as a particularized focus of interest and attention of the American geopolitics and economy. The paper proposes that this regional reconfiguration is circumscribed to a planetary space revolution, which is an immediate consequence of the global war against terrorism.
