Description:The exhibit focuses on explaining the production of the concept ‘neoliberalism’, its significance and political application in the current phase of globalization and its basic implications for some Latin American societies in the transition between the 20th and 21st centuries. It also makes an elementary approach to its ideological contribution in the configuration of a common sense (or sensitivity/ethos) in a society like the Costa Rican, a question that affects the possibility of studying its impact on specific and complex institutions such as educational institutions.
