Descripción: | The Biblioteca Infantil Miriam Álvarez Brenes (BIMAB), is linked to the School of Librarianship, Documentation and Information of the National University (UNA). In 2018 it had a re-conceptualization under the roaming modality to provide services to communities (previously selected) with socially vulnerable child populations located outside the Omar Dengo University Campus. This involved to work with other professionals from various academic fields. This allowed the BIMAB to consider carrying out educational activities such as this one, performed for the first time in its history. So a virtual workshop on Informational and Digital Literacy (E-ALFIN) was held. This was addressed to its collaborators (student assistants and academic people of the BIMAB) together with allies of the community of Guararí (Heredia). It was facilitated by the academic head of the BIMAB, Pedro Montero Bustabad, together with the librarian of this information unit Flor Vargas Bolaños. |
