Descripción: | This work defends the pertinence of elaborating a bioethics from the school of liberation thought. For the above, the core of the pioneering American bioethics of Van Rensselaer Potter is analyzed in relation to three points: its anthropological conception, its objective and its theoretical foundation. Subsequently, and by way of contrast, the same three concepts analyzed but now developed from the perspective of the liberation movement are retaken. Once this has been done, the need to invest efforts in claiming a liberating function in the bioethical discipline will become evident. |
