Descrição:This article contains elements of the progress of a doctoral research, whose main axis is assessment in e-learning, within the distance model of National Distance State University (UNED, for its acronym in Spanish) of Costa Rica and the population of two postgraduate degrees. In the current situation of the 2020 pandemic in which the use of virtuality allows guaranteeing academic processes worldwide, the challenge represented by assessment and its adaptation to a model other than the face-to-face one is more clearly visualized, in which there is no longer the control that the teacher can exercise when monitoring written tests, but it is possible to take advantage of communication and collaboration thanks to technologies. This article contains conceptual clarifications and important inputs for those teachers who seek guidance to implement assessment through a formative vision and where the student is actively located. It is a theoretical review that supports the research and shapes it at a methodological level.
