| Описание: | This essay examines how generative artificial intelligence reshapes the notion of intellectual merit in higher education. Based on recent literature on university policies, assessment, generative AI literacy, and prompt literacy, it argues that the debate should move beyond whether students used AI and focus instead on the intellectual capacities they display when using it. The text contends that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a tool of the present, that prompting can be understood as an intellectual operation, and that merit shifts toward formulation, judgment, validation, and authorial responsibility. It concludes that integrating AI into academic training requires redesigning assessment to emphasize process, traceability, critical verification, and deep understanding. |
