Descripción:In his novel, The savage detectives, Roberto Bolaño invites us to walkthroughthe history of terror experienced after the establishment of a series of dictatorshipsand totalitarian governments during the sixties and seventies in the LatinAmerican region. Through a series of historical facts fictionalized by a movementof Latin Ameican strident poets, the author lets us glimpse, as if it were aregional radiography, a whole series of scenarios ranging from repression andstate terrorism, to the exile, patriarchy, the search for a Latin American poeticidentity, among others. This article seeks to establish a relationship betweenthese fictional facts and the Latin American historical reality.
