Omschrijving:This document presents a contribution of computable general equilibrium models applied to fiscal policy. The analysis starts with the current state of the economy, followed by simulations of different types of fiscal policies to observe their impact on the economic structure for decision-making purposes. These simulations were conducted using the STAGE model. It was found that the VAT and income tax simulations generate a contribution slightly above half a percentage point of GDP. Meanwhile, when government spending is adjusted, the resulting savings exceed those of the previous measures, amounting to more than one percentage point of GDP, both in the short and long term.
