Cur Síos:Rogelio Fernández Güell, born in Costa Rica, was an exile in Mexico who participated as a diplomat in the twilight of the Porfirio Díaz dictatorship, later inthe transitional government headed by Francisco León de la Barra and, finally, at the arrival of an elected president through popular vote period, with Francisco I. Madero. He devoted his talents as writer and journalist to Maderismo. This article studies with special attention, his work in press both in Mexico and in his native country, in newspapers managed by him, such as La Época (Mexico) and El Imparcial (San José).
