| Beskrivelse: | This systematic literature review, based on the PRISMA methodology, focuses on the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) and artificial intelligence (AI) as indicators of excellence in quality management in higher education. The review focuses on Latin American publications from 2018 to 2024. The results suggest that ICTs, such as virtual training platforms, learning management systems, educational indicators, and collaborative learning environments, improve institutional effectiveness, optimize assessment processes, and promote equity. AI improves personalization and data-driven decision-making through the use of adaptive learning, smart tutoring, and predictive analytics. However, adopting these technologies presents political, ethical, educational, and sustainability challenges. In conclusion, incorporating of ICTs and AI as indicators for achieving educational excellence requires a balanced approach between technological innovation, institutional governance, and quality thresholds. |
