| Disgrifiad: | ROLE OF THE VIRTUAL TUTOR IN THE DISTANCE EDUCATION (UNED)El tutor virtual se perfila como un componente esencial en el contexto educativo a distancia de la UNED, en especial cuando la Institución está virtualizando paulatinamente sus diferentes cursos. Por esta razón, es deseable que el tutor que tiene la responsabilidad de ser facilitador en la virtualidad conozca algunas de las responsabilidades y funciones que tiene en este tipo de espacios asincrónicos. Así, en este artículo se pretende brindar algunas características deseables para el adecuado desenvolvimiento del tutor en los diferentes cursos que se ofrecen en línea, con el fin de obtener el mayor provecho de la virtualidad en el contexto educativo a distancia.Palabras clave: tutor virtual, virtualidad, educación a distancia, entornos de aprendizaje virtuales.AbstractThe virtual tutor is seen as an essential component in the context of distance education UNED, especially when the institution is gradually virtualizing its various courses.
