Kuvaus:This essay reflects on the general propositions of the National Qualifications Framework for education careers and the controversies that arise from the omissions and intentions that underlie teacher training. The objective is to analyze the development of teaching capacities and pedagogical competences through associations between the Qualifications Framework and the general postulates of education for peace. Methodologically, from a qualitative approach, the process of building teaching skills and the requirements of the labor market is interpreted through the formulation of controversies related to teacher training. Consequently, it is possible to visualize the implication of the criteria for the pedagogical exercise in the management and understanding of social conflicts and the need to reassemble Costa Rican education from a political and philosophical framework focused on peace and human rights.
