The approach was descriptive quantitative. All populations were studied and the data was collected through an instrument. As results, it was possible to classify the 22 indicators of the CDD in three groups (severe, moderate and satisfactory). Five serious indicators, 13 moderate and 14 satisfactory were identified. The first concern feedback, collaborative work, synchronous sessions and monitoring of learning and participation in virtual learning environments, which is concerned with the role these aspects play in the success of the student body and its permanence in the educational process. It was determined that the majority of the population has a general average level of CDD and is willing to receive training on the subject. For future research, it is recommended to take advantage of the instrument used in this research and build others with the same methodology, one on the competencies required before offering the subject and another on those required afterwards to evaluate the experience and make decisions to improve the offer. virtual academic of the university.
