| Opis: | The purpose of this article is to contextualize the changes at the regulatory level in terms of governance of Information and Communication Technologies, experienced by the Central Government Entities, Autonomous Institutions and Municipalities in Costa Rica, since January 1, 2022, to present a method proposal based on the reference framework of best practices for the government and management of I&T called COBIT 2019, which allows evaluating the technological processes in the Municipality of Carrillo, in order to obtain the diagnosis of the current situation and as a value added the design of the IT government system in a holistic manner, to meet the present requirements and needs, enhance organizational management and generate public value through the services provided by the local government. |
