| Descripció: | This essay presents a fictional story, based on some historical facts of medieval times, specifically, in a feud within the French empire in the Capetian dynasty in Toulouse. We can penetrate the mind of the main character Marian, who as a woman according to the Christian view, since the creation of "man" has seen as a legitimate human inferiority before this, and it is in this line of thought whence this story where Marian, who grew up in a religious environment, and even leads to long for a life of chastity, is converted to an antagonism and suddenly is forced into prostitution. So, her story leads to question the religious ideological basis and feel more and more away from that ideal of what a woman should do. |
