| Omschrijving: | The present article examines the relative impact of four psychosocial variables on interethnic attitudes among 766 ethnic majority adolescents from San José and Limón, namely, their personal and collective self-esteem, their knowledge about other ethnic groups, and their experiences of interethnic contact. Additionally, the study examines if the relationship between these psychosocial variables and interethnic attitudes is moderated by three sociodemographic variables (city of residence, gender, and socioeconomic status). Results are discussed in terms of their political and practical implications. |
