KNOWLEDGE OF ADULTS ABOUT THE CLIMACTERIC, ANDROPAUSE AND SEXUALITY

| Kuvaus: | This article exposed the results of an investigation about the knowledge that adult people have of the climacteric´s process and the sexuality. This study had a quantitative approach with a methodological design of structural descriptive type. The information was obtained by questionnaire. It was applied to a sample of 176 people (108 women and 68 men) with ages between 35 to 65 years old. The most important results were the information gaps in the topics of sexuality and its components. Most people have wrong knowledge in this topic, also many taboos and myths. |
