| Miêu tả: | The present article describes and analyses the vocabulary used by fishermen and sailors in Costa Rica, such as tasks related to the sea and the act of fishing. The linguistic material was gathered along the Caribbean and Pacific coasts by means of a geolinguistic field work. This is the first part of an article presenting 43 punctuallinguistic maps. The theoretical frame and the first 17 maps are included in this issue, whereas the last 26 maps, followed by a linguistic interpretation, will be published in the next edition of this review. |
