It is of interest for the present article the practical use of free software in the field of education; a special emphasis is given to the possibility of its use as an appropriate tool for the processes of education and learning, without avoiding its advantageous and less advantageous features, considering the contexts in which these tools are set forward. Also, practical examples of their use are given. Some news of events and recent relevant facts are included to illustrate the point of discussion in a broader sense. |
