| Beskrivning: | El "Transitivity Hypothesis" establecido por Hopper y Thompson (1980) se discute en lo que respecta a la lengua Bribri (Chibcha). El fenómeno de la transitividad se analiza en los niveles semánticos, sintácticos y discursivos con el objetivo final de establecer la capacidad de predicción de la hipótesis. The "Transitivity Hypothesis" set forth by Hopper and Thompson (1980) is discussed in regard to the Bribri (Chibchan) language. The transitivity phenomenon is analized at semantic, syntactic and discourse levels with the ultimate goal of establishing the predictive power of the hypothesis. |
