Descripción:This article reflects on the state of knowledge of the academic success experiences of women with disabilities in Costa Rican higher education 2016-2020. Guidelines developed for the construction of the state of the art are described, with the aim of identifying patterns of configuration of a systematization of knowledge. The method used was grounded theory, through the paradigm of coding were elaborated the theoretical and explanatory categories as main axes for the development of the same. Among the results and conclusions, it is highlighted that there is a lack of studies regarding the academic success of this population, the research related to this topic are linked to educational support and the predominance of barriers in university contexts.
