Opis:The multidisciplinary experience is based on project-based learning (PBL), focused on the search for solutions and taking into account as a central axis the circular economy. The project focuses on identifying environmental problems in the communities of Alajuela and Heredia, favoring the search for solutions. The project involves students of the careers of Administration and Industrial Chemistry, forming research teams (7-8 students). The project is structured in 4 stages: Planning, Information Collection, Design and Final Report. From the information collected, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the data is performed. Videos and posters are produced and shared on the official pages and social networks of the communities involved. It is concluded that PBL allows students to assume the leadership role, encouraging critical thinking, and decision-making, which have an impact on society.
