Miêu tả:What mathematical knowledge for teaching should be promoted in teacher preparation and professional development programs? In discussing this question themes and lines of reflection that promote problem solving activities as crucial aspects of the education of math teachers are outlined. The importance that pre-service teachers own and value an inquisitive method for interacting with the concepts, ideas and problem solving is highlighted. In particular, the use of various computational tools is identified as essential in preparation programs.
