Descripció:This article refers to historic facts which permit the understandlng of women´s quotidian life during the Colony, particularly ln relation to tbe norm that regulated thelr lives and made them be in a detrimental and oppressive position. This study gives bints to understand soclal mechanlsms such as institutions, law, patterns of behavior -established for women-, all implicit in the ideology that supports the present society.
